– After years of thrashing stages in every nook and cranny of the country Norway's greatest living artist is finally releasing a full length album. "WRISTS" is only 24 minutes long, but that's all it needs to conjure an overwhelming world where glitter and glam seamlessly coexists with filth and pain, simply lovely melodies with chaos and destruction, dance and joie de vivre with sorrow and loneliness, and the only gender identity is "free for all". This isn't music in a genre that has a name yet. Maybe "Alien Rock", "Eurogoth", "Spew Wave", or just regular pop music for regular people. It could be compared to groups like John Maus, Xiu Xiu and assorted Genesis P-Orridge projects, but not much else. This is the most important norwegian album this year.
